Very exciting news!
We are very excited to announce that USDA extended some of the waivers we had in the spring during our COVID-19 closure.
This will allow us, just like in the spring, to provide FREE meals to all children 18 and under until December 31st, 2020.
Independently of the learning model that your child is receiving instruction this school year (HUUSD Hybrid, HUUSD Full Remote Academy, Homeschool, not yet enrolled in the school system) your child is automatically eligible for FREE Breakfast and Free Lunch daily. So even when they are at school they will be able to eat for free.
Please take advantage of this wonderful benefit, the more meals we serve the better it is for our Food & Nutrition Program, and to our community. More Meals Served really equals More Local Products into our schools! Which equals better nutrition to our students!
Our FREE meals are not only for families in need, and you won't be "taking a way" a meal from someone in need if you decide to get a meal for your child.
How to pay?
We ask parents to keep a positive balance in their child’s account.
You can send cash or a check with your child to be deposit in his/or her account.
Please include your child’s name and ID number with your payment.
You can also send your payment to:
